Balcony railings

The height of the balcony railing should be H1200 mm.

Balcony railings can be made of different materials: stainless steel, stainless steel combined with glass, black steel coated with primer and paint, black steel coated with zinc and paint.

Due to the climate in Lithuania, we do not recommend outdoor railings with wooden elements, as the humidity causes the wood to expand and split during the warming period.

Advantages of each balcony type:

Stainless steel – this steel has the highest resistance to weather corrosion. Stainless steel balcony railings have the highest resistance to corrosion and have the most luxurious appearance.
Stainless steel with glass handrails, these handrails have all the characteristics of corrosion resistance. Such railings have a “lighter” look as they do not have a metal element in the middle. We always recommend 10 mm toughened glass. There are a number of ways of fixing the glass, the glass can be fixed to the profile, screwed to the side of the balcony or overhang, or screwed to the stainless steel uprights with fixings.
The handrail is made of black painted steel and is available in different profile thicknesses. Recently, architects have often chosen rectangular profiles of 40×10 or 50×10 mm. These are welded vertically for safety. The handrail is primed and powder-coated.
The black steel handrail is zinc coated and painted, the difference being durability.

The handrail is dipped in hot zinc at the factory and the product is given a protective coating which greatly improves its performance. After this process, the upper part of the product is machined to make it pleasant to the touch and powder-coated.
